Who We Serve

Run the Gamut is a school for young adults (ages 18-24) with autism who are working toward independent living but require structured support in developing key life skills. The program is designed for individuals who:

  • Have foundational self-care and safety skills but require further development in problem-solving, self-management, and decision-making.

  • Can engage in structured learning (small groups, dyads, or individual instruction) without behavioral support.

  • Are motivated to increase independence in areas such as household management, financial management, health and safety, and social engagement.

  • Can function in community and vocational settings with minimal supervision and support.

Who is a Good Fit for Run the Gamut?

Young adults are a strong fit for Run the Gamut if they:

  • Have foundational self-care and safety skills.

  • Are motivated to increase their independence and actively engage in structured learning.
Are ready to advance in essential life, vocational, and self-advocacy skills to transition successfully into adulthood.

  • Can participate in community and social activities with some guidance and support.

Who Should Consider Other Programs?

Run the Gamut is not a therapeutic or crisis intervention program. Run the Gamut is best suited for individuals who are ready to work on skill-building and build independence in a structured, supportive environment.

This program is not appropriate for students demonstrating a history of emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric disorders.
